Museum Volunteers

"The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers."

- Juliette Gordon Low

The Women’s Museum of California is an almost entirely volunteer-run organization. Volunteers are central to day to day operations, assisting Museum staff with exhibit research and installation,  leading docent tours and field trips, supervising events, and more. We could not do it without selfless people like you!

Our Volunteer Coordinator will respond to completed volunteer forms within one week to schedule an orientation interview. The meeting takes an average of 45-60 minutes and will introduce you to the Museum and the volunteer opportunities available. Volunteers are generally asked to commit at least 10 hours/month to the Museum.
